Booking Terms & Conditions
Please find below terms and conditions for bookings at Castle Venlaw.
Smoking - In accordance with Scottish legislation, the Castle is completely non-smoking.
Single occupancy - Single occupancy is available on request, please contact the hotel for further information.
Long stays - Long Stay rates available on request, please contact the hotel for further information.
Children - Children under the age of 5 are accommodated free of charge, you will only be charged for their food. Children aged between 6 and 16 are charged £40 per night on Bed and Breakfast. We offer childrens menus but we do not allow children under the age of 5 in the restaurant or library bar after 7pm. Please note that we do not allow children or babies to stay in the Romantic Suites.
Dogs - We welcome well behaved dogs but we do not permit them in the public areas of the hotel. There is a charge of £15.00 per dog per night. There is no charge for guide dogs. Please note that we do not allow dogs in the Romantic Suites.
Bookings - To make your reservation simply telephone, fax or email us. We are happy to accept your credit card number to confirm the booking. We welcome Visa, Access and Mastercard but do not accept Diners or American Express.
Deposits - For all reservations a deposit using a credit or debit card is required.
Service Charge - A 10% discretionary service charge is added to all hotel bills. This money is for staff and goes towards their tips, training, clothing etc. The service charge is an expression of your satisfaction and enjoyment of Castle Venlaw. If, however, you do not wish to pay the discretionary service charge, or indeed you wish to alter the amount taken please advise Reception to remove or amend this item from your bill on checkout.
Cancellation - Bookings cancelled within 7 days of arrival will be liable to a cancellation charge equivalent to the first nights stay if we are unable to re-let the room. Different cancellation terms apply to private functions and bookings for more than three rooms and over Christmas and New Year. Cancellation insurance is available. Please ask for details.
