Ever fancied a private mountain biking tuition with professionals? Or always wanted to introduce your partner to your favourite sport? Well, Castle Venlaw Hotel has teamed up with an ex-professional team* from "The Hub" at Glentress Forest in Peebles to offer a fantastic mountain biking experience. With specially designed high power meals and private mountain biking tuition, what better way would be there be to help you improve your biking skills?

So, what's the programme? Arrival at Castle Venlaw for a high power lunch before our biking professionals come and collect you at the Hotel for your special briefing session and 2 hours of private tuition and practicing mountain biking skills to suit your level on a one to one basis. Afterwards, you will be driven back to castle Venlaw where you will be able to relax in your room before enjoying a superb dinner in our award winning restaurant 'Le Cépage'. The next day will be your opportunity to put into practice what you have learned by taking your bike out and discovering the beautiful borders scenery and all of this after a special sportive à la carte breakfast. You don't even need your own bike as you will be able to rent a high spec Kona bike for only £20.

 


Prices are £160 per person in a deluxe room and include:
  • A High power lunch in our Library Bar on arrival
  • 2 hours of one to one private tuition (with full pick up and drop off at Castle Venlaw, a welcome tea and coffee and a full debrief accompanied by tea, coffee and cakes)
  • 3 course dinner in our award winning restaurant 'Le Cépage'
  • One night in one of our beautifully decorated Deluxe Room
  • A specially tailored sportive breakfast.
