Peebles is a great place for cycling, there is lots of counrtyside around about as well as dedicated cycling trails.

For mountainbikers of all levels, Glentress Forest offers the first courses in Scotland designed by enthusiasts using a colour-graded scheme like ski runs.

For more experienced bikers, the Red Bull Downhill Course at nearby Innerleithen is renowned for fast and very technical riding. There is also a good cycling route at Innerleithen (15 mins drive from Peebles).
